Character origin and background
Chihiro Ogino is the young protagonist of Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, the 2001 Studio Ghibli film. A journey to a new home takes an unexpected turn when she and her parents enter a place ruled by spirits. After her parents are transformed, Chihiro must find a way to survive and bring them back.
Working at Yubaba’s bathhouse under the name Sen becomes a turning point in her growth. With help from Haku and Lin, she learns to act with courage and compassion while holding on to her identity. This work-outfit design represents that bathhouse chapter of her story.
