This independent third-party custom minifigure is inspired by Darth Rey from Star Wars. It belongs to BTN’s Star Wars Universe character line, with Keychain and Without Keychain options for collectors building Jedi, Sith and other Force-user displays.
Character origin and background
Darth Rey is a name used for a dark-side interpretation of Rey rather than a permanent Sith identity adopted by the heroine of the sequel films. In The Rise of Skywalker, a dark vision confronts Rey with a frightening possibility for her future.
The film’s vision explores Rey’s fear of becoming what her enemies want her to be; alternate productions such as Rebuild the Galaxy also remix her identity. This listing treats Darth Rey as an alternate dark-side interpretation. It should remain separate from the ordinary Rey Skywalker figure and should not present a possible dark path as the conclusion of her main story.
