Character origin and background
Inuyasha is the half-human, half-dog-demon protagonist of Rumiko Takahashi’s Inuyasha. Born to a powerful demon father and a human mother, he grows up between two worlds, struggling with rejection while developing a fierce instinct to survive. His encounter with Kagome Higurashi sets him on a journey through Japan’s feudal past to recover the scattered Shikon Jewel shards.
His rivalry with older half-brother Sesshomaru centres on their father’s legacy, including the inherited sword Tessaiga, also rendered Tetsusaiga. Battles against Naraku and bonds with Kagome and their companions gradually reveal the loyalty beneath Inuyasha’s blunt, impulsive manner.

Pair this figure with Sesshomaru (Humanoid Form) to display the brothers together. Their contrasting silhouettes—Inuyasha’s red trousers and broad blade beside Sesshomaru’s white clothing and armour—make a natural starting point for a series-focused collection.
