Character origin and background
Yuji Itadori was a physically gifted student in Sendai before swallowing Sukuna’s finger to protect others. Becoming Sukuna’s vessel brought him into Tokyo Jujutsu High and placed him under a suspended death sentence.
His grandfather’s wish that he help people guides a story shaped by difficult choices, loss and responsibility. Training and bonds with Megumi, Nobara, Todo and other sorcerers gradually turn him from an outsider into a central fighter.
