Character origin and background
Reed Richards is Mister Fantastic, the scientist whose experimental spaceflight exposed him, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm to cosmic rays. The accident gave Reed an elastic body and turned the group into the Fantastic Four, a family of explorers whose adventures combine science, discovery and superhero action.
Reed’s strength lies as much in problem-solving as in stretching and reshaping his body. His marriage to Sue and long friendship with Ben keep his scientific ambitions tied to family responsibilities, even when those ambitions lead the team into danger.
This costume and product details
Reed founded the Future Foundation to bring gifted young minds together to solve problems and build a better future. This white-and-black outfit represents that scientific-team identity.
